Sorry, it's taking a while to get this running better. Love to all. I miss the Sherry unit. :-( More coming soon, however. I have the week off~!!!!!
Sherry Cheryl Ann Morse Mullins August 3, 1949 - March 30, 2011
I came home Wednesday to the news that my best friend was gone. It was a shock. I knew that there was something wrong, but not what.
Sherry and I met in 1981. After a horrible nine months in Las Vegas Nevada, my husband, a friend and I had made a break for it and run "home". Actually, that was the truth, New Mexico was Home. We rolled up to the house of a friend, dropped out of the cab of the U-Haul truck we'd rented and the friend, Bob, came tearing out of the house to greet us. Behind him was this tall, slender woman we didn't know and who quickly excused herself only to get roped into helping me keep a cat corralled under the truck long enough to catch it. Yep, three people and five cats in the cab of a U-Haul. Great first impression to make on someone after driving straight through from Vegas to Las Cruces.
We introduced ourselves ... I think. Neither of us had any inkling that a 30 year friendship was in the making.
So, take a look around. We're under construction and will be adding as I think of things.
Page two is a Blog. Please take a moment and add your memories to ours so that this site can grow and reflect the loving, caring and wonderful friend that Sherry was to all of us.
Peace & Love.
